Jennifer Rene Psaki
Jennifer Rene Psaki (American political advisor) was the 34th White House secretary. She served this role from 2021-2022. She is a member of the Democratic Party and previously served as the White House deputy Press Secretary (2009) and the White House deputy Communications Director (2009-2011) as well as the spokesperson for US Department of State (2013-15) and the White House communications direct (2015-17). Psaki was a political contributor to CNN from 2017 until 2020. Psaki began her career in the 2001 re-election campaign in Iowa of Tom Harkin and Tom Vilsack who were both Democrats running for U.S. Senate. Psaki was then named as deputy press secretary to John Kerry's presidential campaign in 2004. Psaki served from 2005 to 2006 as the communications director of Joseph Crowley, U.S. representative, and as regional press secretary for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. Psaki was back in the political arena in 2012, serving as the press secretary for President Obama’s 2012 campaign. [20] Psaki was fired as the spokesperson of the United States Department of State on February 11 2013. The speculations that she would replace Jay Carney White House Press secretary when he left White House in the year 21 were fuelled by her appointment at the Department of State. However, Josh Earnest was announced as the replacement of Carney on May 30, 2014. She returned to the White House in 2015 to be the director of communications. She was a part of the Obama administration until its conclusion.
